Why was my text link denied?
Why was my text link denied?
Article
Text links are denied for three reasons:
1. the Ad URL points to a site that does not meet Max Traffic Pro terms of service which can be reviewed at
http://maxtrafficpro.com/terms.php
2. the Ad URL points to a site that does not exist
3. the Ad URL is missing altogether
Most often, the Ad URL is missing. Sometimes the Ad URL does not save properly; we are working on that bug. When you add a new text link, double check that there is a URL in the Ad URL box. If the Ad URL box is empty, please re-enter the URL and click Save. If the Ad URL is missing, we have no choice but to deny the text link. If it were to be accepted, then all impressions assigned to that link would be wasted because clicks would go nowhere.
We lied. There's a fourth reason for a text link to be denied.
4.
The ad URL points to a banner or other image
If an image URL is entered into the ad URL box, then when
someone clicks the text link, they will be taken to a banner
or image that is NOT clickable. It would be a waste of credits
to accept that text link because visitors would never get to
where you really want them to go.
